I just got back from a trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina with a group of students from Oregon State University. They are also studying at the Universidad del Bio Bio, but they have their own separate classes and a separate program.
Anyway, when I was in Argentina I realized how much my Spanish has improved. People say that when you study abroad Spanish speaking country there comes a day when you wake up and suddenly Spanish just make sense. I think that day came for me a few weeks ago.
When we rented a go-cart, the lady spoke a million miles an hour, but I understood everything and I could easily say whatever I wanted to say in Spanish. I can't believe how much I've learned since I started studying abroad.
